The Maldives LONGRUN is the longest running endurance event in the Maldives, with over a decade of finish line memories. Join us for the upcoming edition at Hulhumale Central Park. The race will take place on a 5km loop course, with the marathon and half marathon featuring slight deviations at the start to adjust for total distances. Hydration needs will be met with 3 aid stations offering sports drinks and bananas along the route. International runners can easily reach Hulhumale, just a 15-minute drive from Velana International Airport in Male'. Additionally, there are various bed and breakfast style hotels in Hulhumale to accommodate your stay. Experience the Run LoCo Half Marathon and Elf on the Run 5K, featuring scenic views of the Tennessee River, Downtown Lenoir City, and the Greenway. Both certified out-and-back race courses begin and end at the Tellico Lake Canal Day Use Area. Participants enjoy a swag bag with a hoodie at registration and receive finisher medals. MISPO Health Club was established on February 22, 1989, and was originally called Running Club Mispo. Over the years, members' exercise habits have evolved and diversified, leading to a name change. During this time, members have participated in races in Hungary, Finland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, and more. Traditional activities include collective bike and boat trips, running events, and even Olympic Games. Some of our members' children have been on the national team for track and field (Ebe Reier, Jan ja Janek Õiglane) and cycling (Tanel Kangert). Many runners have come and gone from the club, but the core has remained. Although the intensity of exercise has decreased and the strides are not as long as before, members still maintain their positive attitude and enthusiasm for movement. That's why Monday and Wednesday are days no one should stay at home! In addition, we are now offering a 2-day small road marathon, where you can get your kilometers in with two days of running. All four distances are available on both days.
